I wanted to get the opinion of hunters who have greater experience than I, since I only have a couple of years under my belt. Since most of us (Archery) don't get drawn for a bull tag we have to stick to Spike or cows. What hunting method would you guys say would work better for hunting cows?? What are some tactics that have worked for you in the past?

Spot & stalk or just plain old tracking.

:yeah:
If you find fresh tracks you can very often follow them right to the elk that made them.

As said above spot and stalk or tracking but calf calls will also help if you are into the herd. The cows will also come investigate cow calf sounds.

I got my cow last year from a treestand set on a high traffic intersection. Put my time in until 1 walked by.

Bring a bugle, get a bull to answer and sneak in. Often times they have cows.

Find well used trails and sit on them. Patience will bring you cows
