Has anybody had any experience with these? If so please share. I got a great spot for elk but the thermals kill me.
-
Are you sittin on my stool? LOL.
I've got a couple spots exactly as you describe. Darn tough to hunt.
-
This year I"m going to try a ground blind for cover of movement and scent and see what happens.
-
It is tough watching a 7x7 for days and cows as well and then hunt it for a week and nothing. I just want to know if these things really work from somebody who has one.
-
I don't have one but I read in field and stream it stumped the dog who they have had bust every other scent control when they used ozonics I guess it took him about a minute to find the person.
-
It didnt stump the dog but it did take him longer to find the guy with Ozonics on. Or atleast thats what it said in the magazine I read.
-
Don't have one, but I looked in to them last year. Biggest complaint on them is the noise the fan makes. Hunter's were saying the Ozonics seemed to be working and the animals were getting in close, but spooking because of the fan noise. I also heard they fixed the noise issue, but I :dunno:. Pretty pricey, but if they work, at least for me it's worth the $400.

i personally wouldn't use one. the effects of ozone exposure can lead to other maladies.

Ozone= not good for you. We use a machine at work to get rid of smoke smell for fire jobs that we get.

The only thing that I have found to that works to cover human sent, is Hunters Specialties cow elk urine wafers.

I like those wafers too, it's amazing how strong they smell. I used to buy the scent loc, and the sprays. I don't believe anything completly eliminates our scent but the cover up might give us that extra second to make the kill.

Stop breathing and you get rid of 90% of scent. Have seen a hunter cross up wind of a herd of elk 3/4 mile(no other way to get there from here) with using the soap, scent and scent killing clothing and still have the elk lookup and move into the timber as the wind reached them. Humans stink to animals no way around it. JMO
