Title: What kind of tracks are these
Post by: timberghost72 on July 25, 2014, 04:46:50 PM: I was out riding my mountain bike on a gated road today scouting for upcoming bear season and ran accross these tracks. I am assuming they are just k9, maybe coyote but with the long nail marks I wasn't sure. All of the prints I found only had 2 visible nail marks and not 4 which is why I was thinking coyote. There were some other k9 type tracks also that were much larger and there were some obvious deer tracks on the road and these appeared to be following the deer tracks. Even when they went off to the grass and then back on the road. I was also thinking this was just somebody's dog but I didn't see one boot/shoe print.
