Title: Walther P38 Id and value. Help please.
Post by: Special T on July 26, 2014, 02:23:08 PM: Im looking at doing a horse trade for a couple of firearms. Im told this pistol is worth about $1k and I know nothing about this gun nor do I desire to keep it. I plan on keeping others in the trade but have a pretty good idea of thier value.im looming in the gun traders guide to get a basic but im not sure I have it properly decifered. The byf 44 code ahould mean it is a mauser pistol 44 is the date. Since ther is such a huge difference between different productions. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Id website? Thankyou for your time.

That is great resource, made it very easy to figure out what this gun was and made it easy for me to pass on the trade.
