You get an awful lot of performance for a very fair price with Bear bows.  Top to bottom in the line they are all good.  Only place I think they are weak is in the "Grade School to Graduation" bows.  Bowtech, Diamond and Mission are probably better in that category.  Although the new Cruiser might change that!  In the $499 plus there are plenty of other options besides Bear that are real winners!  At $699 the competition even gets tougher.  But in the $899+ range and the $445- range I think Bear really eats up the competition.

Have you set a budget for the "Bow Only"?

The only Bear bow I can think of with the name "Premier" is a cheapy little kids bow.  Are you sure it was called that?

They do not make a Method 7, but they do make a Motive 7.  The Method is an intermediate brace bow at 6.5-6.75".  Not a bad bow at all.  Though at a $649 MSRP you might get a better deal on the Hoyt Charger, Mission Ballistic or PSE Drive that would be similar in performance at a few hundred dollars less.  The Motive 7 is an outstanding bow good enough to buck heads with the best of the best.

I would cross the river to xXx and talk with Corey!

When I was bow shopping a few years ago,I can't remember which bear bow it was,I know it was one of the top ones they had,I thought they had one of the smoothest after shocks of most bows, some give a pretty good jolt IMO. The bear felt smooth. I didn't go with it but when I go again in a couple years I'll check Bear bows out again. I went with a Hoyt Rampage.

If you don't mind having a one piece quiver the Anarchy is really dang hard to beat!  Good speed, excellent stability, quiet, piece of cake to tune and just about the perfect valley.  At $499 that's the deal of the year right there   My VIP pricing is way more than that I think!
