Title: Only a question about selling some ammo
Post by: bwhntr350 on July 28, 2014, 07:34:43 PM
If this does not belong, of course, I understand that it may be moved.

So, I got all this older ammo. Pretty sure that most of it is from the mid 70's or there about. I got gobs of it and would like to get rid of it but I do not want to give it away as I know that the brass alone can bring a pretty good price. It is all original factory ammo. None of this brass has ever been reloaded. New in box.

My question is, how would one most benefit in trying to sell this? Auction it off in lots of like ammo? Not sure if there would be any demand for any of this, but I need to try, I guess, to sell it.

 Any thoughts?

 Here is a picture of what I got. Mostly .300 Win. Mag, ,300 H & H, and .375 H & H mag. with a couple of boxes of .458 Win. Mag.

I'll give ya $100.00 for the 180 grain 300 wm, five boxes. I cannot read the 300 boxes on the left but am interested.
Carl
Where are ya?

You might check gun broker to get an idea of prices. I bet that 300 H&H will bring a pretty good price. The 375 H&H should be worth quite a bit as well. The 300 Win Mag not quite so much since it's a lot more common, and not all that expensive to buy new in the store.

Don't listen to any of those guys, let me help you. I will be glad to buy the lot for $100 bucks and then sell it. This will relieve you of the hassle.

I would buy several of the .300 Win Mag when you figure out how the auction is going to go post it up. I have a friend that might buy some of the .300 H and H
