Title: Brewster timing
Post by: Stein on July 29, 2014, 10:25:42 AM
Anyone know how long Brewster pool and Wells Dam remain fishable?  Do they stay reasonably bright or do they go mushy after being in the river so long?

I'm tossing around the idea of taking my boat over the weekend of Aug. 16 and it sounds like a great fishery for the family.

They should be ok still. The sockeye are mostly gone by then and some of the kings are getting darker. Most guys will have quit fishing there and started on the Hanford reach. There is a guy that posted video on you tube and that time you posted is when he was catching limits. Flashers and tuna in a Brads cut plug.
