So this is going to be my wife's first year archery hunting. I wanted to do something special to celebrate. She had an old Schrade knife that her dad found in the woods, so I cleaned to up and put and antler handle on it. What makes it so special is the antler i chose was from the first buck I harvested with a bow. Kinda sappy I know, but hoping it brings her good luck, and she uses it this upcoming season

 looks pretty nice think she will be real happy to but it to good use .

Very cool. I hope it brings many years of good luck.

Thanks guys, shes very excited about her hunt this year. Taken me awhile to turn her, :chuckle: but think she will be a lifer after this

That's nice. Now you need to make her a sheath for it so she can carry it.

Your a real gentleman to cut up your first 8 pt. :chuckle: very good looking knife, good luck to the new bowhunter!

Well she did it. Got to use the knife on her first deer. Perfect shot at 22 yards. Very proud Hubby

I don't see any blood on those cheeks? Was she not bloodied?

Real cool! Cograts to you wife on first deer! That knife turned out real nice.

Congrats on her 1st, time to put that knife to work

Yes H20 she was blooded. I took quick cell phone pic at site of recovery, then drug out of brush so she would have easier time dressing out. She did all the work. From shot to processing. I got a great gal here :)
