Well I got one of the KI brake and put it on my new build. This is a BHW barrel chambered in 243LBC 24" I picked up for a deal and a half. Went out and shot it a couple weeks ago shoots amazing no felt recoil and it is very easy to see impact at least on targets. I had a little issue with head space my fault had a type2 bolt in it when I should of had a type1. Cases grew a little on the shoulder so I'll just bump them back and try again. Can't wait to shoot it some more but it's too dang hot maybe this weekend. Let me know what you guys think of this build.

I too have a Killer innovations brake, today we range tested my build for the first time,I couldn't be happier, the gun shoots far better than my ability, the guy who wound it together for me shot a 1/2 inch group at 200 meters in a slight breeze with 50 grain factory fioochi ammo.My 200 meter group was inch and half.We changed up at the end of the day and moved to the 100 yard range,he shot a 3/8 group and I peppered a 10 shot group of an inch or so.I know what you mean about the heat, the mirage factor was high on the 200 meter range I had a real hard time ignoring it.All I said after every shot was "Well theres a dead coyote".I'd say your rig is pretty wicked looking.

Thanks weeds. I have a problem I get upset with 3" groups but I shoot at 300 yards with most of my rifles.

Update this thing is awesome. Tight groups with 95 gr VLD @ 3018fps. 👍

You should post the Magnetto speed number for that 3 shot group above. That three shot group is in the mid .1's and the numbers to match are just as tight. That BlackHole barrel flat shoots!

Pic of the magneto speed readout on the three shots that ran .138" group with 95gr Berger VLD Hunting.

Sweet!
That's exactly what the brake was designed for.
