Title: bumping lake area without a boat?
Post by: syoungs on August 04, 2014, 01:10:31 PM: Just realized I've got a 4 day weekend for labor day, and was thinking about going up to bumping lake, or somewhere around the area to camp. I'll be taking the trailer, so no boat for this trip, just wonder if it would be worth fishing from the bank at bumping?
I don't want to fish the rivers or streams, as I'll have the kid with me and he's still getting used to the whole lake fishing idea.

I'm also open to suggestions of lakes within a couple hours from the tri cities I could camp at with decent bank access
