Title: Fished Lake Wenatchee 8-1 8-2 & 8-3
Post by: krapmit on August 04, 2014, 03:47:58 PM
WEnt up to Lake Wenatchee and fished Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Fishing was really slow for most.  We fished three rods all weekend and caught 7 Friday, 5 Saturday and 3 Sunday, 15 total.

Most boats caught 1-2 fish per day and it was EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING because these fish do not bite in the evening and the morning bite ended at 9 a.m. every day.  It doesn't make a lot of sense why there are no fish caught in the evening and why the bite died so fast in the morning.

Beautiful sunsets every night and a nice collared 250 lb black bear at 50 yards for close to 5 minutes and some salmon to take home mad a great trip, but fishing is definitely not HOT up there.  Hope it improves for some others.

Hope you had a fun time. After dealing with that boat launch, not sure if I would go back! Maybe on a weekday. Glad you got some.
