Anybody know what the deal is with the pope resources walk in areas around seabeck? Mainly off dewatto rd? Had a guy tell me its all a no hunting area. Having a hard time getting any info on it.

There are some gates that lead back to someones house, and those are usually posted as private property.
But there are others that you can walk behind the gates and hunt.  Those gates will usually have a sign on them or near them(on a tree), that will read "no motorized access, no target shooting.  shooting only in accordance with wdfw hunting regulations"(meaning you can hunt and kill game).  Also, there are some people who have keys to the gates and have permission to drive around in there, so dont be surprised if you see someone driving.
Good luck with your bear hunting!

Pope land is open to non motorized vehicles for day use. Like previously said, look at the sign on the gate. I've done my share of biking behind a few out there with zero problems. If you see a hunter on a red Gary Fisher, that'd be me, stop me and we'll chew the fat.
