Title: videos recirded with phone have poor quality when sent to others, help please
Post by: NW-GSP on August 06, 2014, 09:49:26 PM: I have a new Nokia icon and it takes amazing videos but when i send them they look like crap. Is there any way to fix this?

Most videos taken with phones, look "OK" on small screens, but look like doo doo on PCs or TVs.

Post by: Myrtle Creek Inc. on August 14, 2014, 02:59:01 PM: I'm not sure exactly what causes this, but I have the same problem with my wife's phone, and my own. I have the Galaxy S4, and she has an iPhone 5C. No matter who we send videos too, they always downgrade the quality.

The only solution that I have come up with is to upload them to Dropbox, and then share the video through that.

Post by: stickbuck on August 14, 2014, 03:03:40 PM: Are you sending the video in a text or an email? I've noticed that if I text someone a video on my phone the quality is not all that great. However, if I email it, my phone compresses the video automatically and maintains the quality through the email that I can't get with a text.
