Title: Archery Deer & Bear season overlap — Blaze orange needed?

I'm looking and scouting an area on the Wet side GMU for blacktails and I was talking to another hunting buddy of mine who hunts this area for fall black bear. The seasons overlap in this region, so my question is do I need to or should I wear some blaze if I'm out bowhunting deer in the area? It seems like a good idea to hopefully not get shot at my a bear hunter, but nothing that I've been able to read out says it's mandated.

Suggestions?

Post by: superdown on August 09, 2014, 09:10:21 AM: You do not need blaze orange for either one so it is not required.It is only required if bear season overlaps with a modern firearm season since bear is a any weapon hunt.

Post by: billythekidrock on August 09, 2014, 09:16:05 AM: Not required, but would be a good idea to have an orange vest in your pack. A human bent over gutting a deer can be hard to see in the brush and it would be a tragedy to be mistaken for a bear.
