Title: CR Salmon
Post by: Blacklab on August 10, 2014, 08:30:19 AM
Hey guys, Been sitting in the CR for salmon. It's a little early for my area. But with this awesome weather we have to get and enjoy it. That's all we been doing till yesterday. The sun was out and the wind was blowing. Thought I was in the gorge, that windy. We were just using wobblers & Clancy's with sand shrimp and bloody tuna scent. The Clancy hooked a nice new coin bright 15lb king hen at 8:15. First fish of the year . With more to follow we hope  :IBCOOL:.

Nice! COngrats! We have been getting a few sockeye and a king almost every trip. Sure is fun. I fished all 3 days off this week,  can't wait to get back out.

Nice work! Glad to hear the fish are showing up in the river already. I normally would be all over some wobbler fishing but I'll be doing the Buoy 10 fishery the next 2 weekends. Gonna play bumper boats with the rest of the flotilla! Good luck out there, should be a fantastic season on the lower river!
