Title: Hot weather hat, beanie, cap, head covering
Post by: 92xj on August 11, 2014, 07:04:57 AM: What do you recommend for hot weather hunting?
Something with scent control?
Something mesh style?
Light weight merino?
Nothing?
Bald guys cover that glaring head?
Gray headed guys always wear something?
Some sweet Doo-Rag?

I know it's supposed to not be bad, but the thought of a wool hat on my head when it's 85 degrees outside sounds horrible to me.

When it gets wet just take it off and hang it on a limb and it dries quickly. I hate hats because the headband in them gets sweaty and takes forever to dry

Anybody know if the Kuiu ones are bigger? Or know of any that are bigger.

Bought mine at Cabelas to match my turkey gear. A brim and some mesh are a must do IMHO.
