Hey all, my buddie and I are working up here in mt baker and mt Vernon all week, was wondering if anyone has any information on the samish river that they wouldn't mind sharing... Was wondering if it's worth to fish right now, and what are people using that works the best. all the help we could get would be greatly appreciated!!!

Not sure what they are doing about access this year or if they will even open it . But it is a little early yet ..about the 20 th there should be fish to catch ..Use eggs ..if you want to be legal ... :chuckle:

It says that it opened the 1st?... Or are you talking about an access spot? So there's most likely no fish in it right now? But ya haha ill thro some eggs, any other decent fisheries or lakes you know of around here, haven't fished up this way at all, my buddy has but it has been a long while since he has, thanks for the info!

Don't waste your time.. the fish taste like mud. And it is a joke with all the weird rules.

Access is only to the two bottom holes. 1st 1/4 mile from the bridge, other owners didn't join the "club " this year.

Ok, thank you! Does rain have anything to do with this river or is it just an incoming tide fishery?
