I can't find the list anywhere on WDFW's website. Does anyone have a list or know where to find who is on the GMAC?

I'm sure it is a privacy issue. I doubt everyone on that advisory group wants their name published. There are several members here that are GMAC members, but they probably don't want their real name out there.

I would think that if its a public committee, giving recommendations to a public office, the information would be available. I guess I could file a Public Disclosure Request.

WDFW has created websites for several of the advisory councils, those that have websites have a member roster.
GMAC doesn't have a page, yet

The WDFW Game Management Advisory Committee is not mandated as other committees are. Such as the WDFW master Hunter Advisory Comm. Go figure! They are but the GMAC isn't.
What do you want to know? I'm on it and I'll be glad to answer any questions. All meetings are recorded and are a matter of public record if you ask for it. The meetings are open to the public.
We do our best to represent ALL Hunters of ALL disciplines. If you want to make a difference show up at the next WDFW Commission meeting and voice your opinion. Not a single hunter showed up at the last one! There were lots of anti-hunters speaking up about the new game management plan! This forum is nice and interesting to read but they only consider what is sent to them, read or spoken to them at a meeting.
SPEAK UP HUNTERS you are loosing to the anti-hunting community BIG TIME!

Unfortunately commission meeting are schedule during work weeks and making them would include travel.
Not always an option.

:yeah: when can hunters expect to see a website setup that allows us to read the minutes of GMAC meetings and possibly allows hunters to submit comments?

Search 'gmac' on this forum and you will see I post a fairly detailed set of notes from the meetings.

Like Leed said, the meetings are open to the public, but unless you are asked you cannot make comments at the meeting.
