Just checked the 10 day forecast on the weather channel. It "appears" that temps will get hot again early next week but by the weekend before the opener, a definite dive into the low 70s for daytime temps and and wait for it....... rain! We can only hope that we'll get a spell of cooler weather and some liquid from the sky to 1. keep the fire problem and potential closures at a minimum and 2. quiet down the woods and "cool" it down for packing out boned out elk meat ;) We'll see.
