what does everybody think of it?

If it is a Stvens 200 it is the same as a long action Savage 110 without the Accutrigger. Great action lots of after parts and they are usually accurate. I use the short action Stevens 200 for most of my coyote and deer hunting rifles and one of my target guns is on one. Most of mine have triggers that are suitable for hunting but I did put an SSS trigger on my target rifle. I do like Weaver or B-Square one piece bases for scope mounting.

New or used..

Damn good rifle  It's Savages inexpensive model. Kind of like the Vanguard is Weatherby's answer for the sportsman who don't have big bucks.

No-frills solid hunting rifles. Won't have a great trigger or a fancy stock, but should be hunting accurate for little coin. And if you want, you can get several barrels for one action and be able to change them in your garage (or hunting camp) in 10 minutes with $50 worth of tools.
