Title: Great grandpa's deer
Post by: ReformedVeg on September 01, 2014, 03:18:04 PM
I found this rack at my parents house this weekend.  My great grandpa shot it years ago.  As far as I know he was the last person on my dad's side of the family to hunt.  I think I'll get it mounted one of these days.  Any thoughts on how it would score?

Who cares what it'll score? It's a family treasure that you're now going to have preserved for generations. I'd say perfect score. That's a great rack.

Pretty easy to rough score it yourself using the b&c website and a sewing tape. Nice trophy!!

I guess if you're going to put the score on the mount with Great Grandpa's name on it, that would be cool.

It won't score very high but who cares...amazing family treasure. Please share pics of the mount if you end up doing it. Thanks for sharing.
