Good looking bear. I've been making some Bear on a stick. Cut the meat into small pieces. Marinated the meat in Barbecue sauce and placed the meat on a stick cooked it in the oven at about 350 degrees. With red and yellow bell peppers and onions cooking on another stick it made a tasty meal last night. The bear I got was as good as any beef in the store. No gamey taste at all. It must have been the good blueberry diet.

I do every year. Matter of fact most of my hides are hacked up just to save packing weight. Bears are some of the best eating animals. No sense wasting it.

saylean, I made the whole thing into jalepeno pepperoni sticks. The hide was left on the mountain, in order to pack out all the meat.

You have it all wrong! Do you know what those critters eat?? Your supposed to pack out the hide and leave the meat!
Great lookin bear

...and one in my back yard broke into my shed and helped himself to about 25 lbs of peanuts and a bag of seed. So add peanut butter and granola to that list of groceries.  :EAT:
