Took my three year old out on the 4Th and got a doe. We started out on the edge of my uncles property and almost instantly bumped three deer. Two bucks and a doe, being of my personnel intrest in flavor, I targeted the doe. Hit her broadside at 27 yards and she went a 100 feet before crashing into a tree and the ground. My son had a great time on his first hunt

Awesome. I am thinking about taking my almost 3 year old out this fall for some time in the field. Don't know if any animals will hit the ground, but it should be a success, in any event.
