Shot my buck at 80 yards Thursday evening. My biggest buck by far and had a great hunt! I hit my buck a little back and after the shot he immediatly bedded down. I could still see his antlers moving in the crp grass. I watched him for about 2 hours before it got dark and slowly backed out so I wouldn't bump him. After a long agonizing sleepless night we went back in and found him were about 10 ft. From where he was last bedded. Now for the worst part! Coyotes got to him! >:(! I was going to go in about 2 in the morning but just didn't want to take any chances on spooking him so I just went in at first light.. the good outcome is the saved me just under half a deer.

nice deer, but have to ask.. what is with the target hip quiver? I have yet to see a BH fit in those tubes.
-
My bow is perfectly balanced as is.. so decided to just go with my hip quiver to not mess with how i already have it. any broadhead i have ever used will for in the round tube hip quiver. i shoot 85grain magnus stinger buzzcut broadhead. i have never had an issue even fitting a 100 grain broadhead in a hip quiver.. now with vistas higher end hip quivers that have the triangular slots i cant fit a broadhead just the open round tubes.
