I am new to washington and would love to find some area around gig harbor to hunt maybe in gmu 627 or 633 that i could easily get in the woods on dy trips. I am an archery hunter mostly. Thanks for any info in advanced.

Lived in GH my entire life. If you can find someone who doesn't like the deer ripping up their landscaping and has some property you might be able to get one of the nice urban bucks that run around otherwise if I were you I would head towards kitsap county. More state land. Even mason county isn't too far where you could easily make evening hunts and there is a lot of timber companies you could probably get out on some of their dirt. 10 years ago you could find some better spots in GH but it has grown so much in the past ten years or more that mostly everything is private and most people love the deer.
