Man! Some outstanding bulls and fantastic pictures
That second bull pushing the cows looks like the big bugger at Reedsport. :dunno: Used to always take my lunch there on my way to service the Coos Bay Freddie's. About the only part of that job I miss.

On the first, its a long blackberry creeper, I think. On the second its rope, not sure how he got tangled in it.

I have been eyeballing a roadtrip for these guys for sometime. Sure saves me gas just looking at your guys wonderful pics of them. I think it was Dennis' photos of these guys that made me want to go check them out. It would be a lot more fun seeing them in person. Thanks for posting the great shots. Maybe someday....

I know of no other place to see as many world class Roosevelts. And before anyone comes on and claims these bulls aren't hunted, the first bull I posted was legally taken four days after I photographed him.

We used to stop and watch on our way to Coos Bay. I could be wrong but sure looks like What we used to see. Impressive for sure. A little feed sure helps em thru winter. ;)

Not Oregon elk, and not fed to my knowledge.
-
Those bulls look like the ones that live by a giant liquor store in California. The ones there eat lots of lily bulbs and get really huge.

Now my curiosity is up!! If I was a cat I'd be on death row about now :chuckle:

What lens was that?

Can I have one. :chuckle:  Great Pics!

Thanks, I appreciate your positive comment.
I believe they were both taken with my Nikon 200-400 f4 VR II but I'd have to check the exif data to be sure.

What would you have to gain about lying if these were Rosie's? :bash: to many people jump to their own conclusions.... thanks for sharing some great pics of Rosie's
This one is a Rosie..its still shots from a video I took....they do get big if you let them grow and don't shoot all the raghorns
