Title: took down a stud this year!
Post by: chris90 on September 12, 2014, 06:14:35 PM: Bumped this guy out of his bed the afternoon of the 2nd but couldn't get a shot through the trees and shot him the morning of the 3rd from my tree stand. Made a 30 yard shot on him with a double lung pass through. I saw this buck for the first time the night before the opener pushing a couple 4x4's around. Didn't expect to see him again after that but after one close call still hunting I decided to set up my stand in that area. Watched some does and a 2pt walk by. Then at 9am of the 3rd morning this big boy stepped out. A 27" wide 5x6 that fidalgo taxidermy scored at 171 3/8". My biggest bow buck to date.
