Title: NE WA Bull Down
Post by: HunterDan03 on September 15, 2014, 09:46:07 AM: We had trail pics of this bull but never thought in our right mind that everything would work out perfectly. My buddy called him in and I arrowed him at 15 yards and he went only 50 yards and piled up. We had an encounter with this bull last year but the timber was too thick to get a shot before his cows winded us and blew off the mountain!

He bugled three times before I saw him. My buddy and his dad never heard him crashing through the brush or bugle. No. We left the lower part of the jaw on the mountain to trim as much weight as possible. A buddy of mine is pretty good at that stuff and he said judging by the upper teeth and the ivorys he figures he was about 10 1/2 years old.
