Last night me and my buddy saw a nice 4x4 whitetail that shed his left side already
-
I would guess that it had broke one side off... :dunno:

I have seen it before. There is always one or two that shed way before the rest. I saw a muley that had shed in November last year and then my nephew found the sheds. They had fresh blood on them so there was no doubt. I figure Shane knows what he was lookin at. Shane you should give it a day or so and go find em before they get covered up with snow.

It shed, we could see the bloody pedicle, totaly normal to start seeing whitetails dropping in early Dec, taken 3 bucks in the last few years in Dec where the antlers shed. I expect to see some this weekend off.

remember the mallot season we use to have??? late dec thru first of jan.
we would see several bucks a year with either one side gone or both gone.
boy i would love to get that season back some day again...

Based on the fact that Huntnphools Moose had allready shed before the end of Nov it doesn't surprise me at all.

The earliest w/t shed I've ever found was on Jan 8th on the snake river. Still had blood on it. My buddy found the match 2 hours later.

I saw a little 3 point in Ferry County last week that was packing only one side.
