Title: Arrow nearing home
Post by: NOCK NOCK on September 20, 2014, 08:35:26 PM
Took a frame grab picture from a video of my nephew's first archery deer kill. Also his first year ever hnting.
After seeing this, It made it a lot easier to fork out some $$ for lighted nocks. He was using the "Nockturnal" brand.

Where did the arrow hit?  What is the story on the hunt?

Doe was quartering away. He hit a little far back, but with the angle, it was a good shot. She ran about 80-100yards and piled up dead....Not bad for a first time EVER hunting anything....I trained him well :IBCOOL:

Cool pic... I bought some lighted knocks this year. But I never put them on. They are still in a bag on my shelf. But there are many times they would aid you in how much time to give an animal for retrieval. Or to see if it was a clean miss.
