Met an older gentleman that had a Quality permit and a cow permit. I believe he ate both of them.

He had very limited mobility unfortunately

Tough hunt then for sure... No companion card?

Anybody know if any of other bull tags are getting filed up there?

I saw one today that a guy got.6x6 decent not huge but not tiny. He got real lucky he found it this morning. Shot it in the foot right before dark and saw it walking across the road this morning.

must have been walking in circles all night cause no foot on one side!!! :dunno:

One rifle tags was a small 5 point, and the other guy with him got a 260 ish 6 point. I seen there pics on my Facebook

I have a pic of the 6x6 but it won't post from my phone. Is there anyone I can text it to that can try to post it?

we were up there on foot the whole week, i was in the brush ALOT, never seen one spike bull of any shootable sorts, only saw three cows right behind our camp and a bunch of bulls coming back up the ravine in a herd, one MONSTER bull following the pack at full run through the open.
Pretty lame trip. had fun camping though. i guess.
That true spike rule needs to be abolished, i would have tagged my first ever Elk opening morning.
One of these years i will get to eat elk instead of wiping my behind with my tag.

His companion was slightly more mobile but 10-15 yrs older. We pointed out some easy access area that bulls were in almost every day but they couldn't get it done.
