My 14 year old son drew this tag and I've personally never set foot in the unit. The hunt doesn't start till 11/15 and end 12/15. Wondering if anyone can help me zero in on where to find birds. I've heard there is a lot of private ground they end up on during this season and thus it may not be worth pursing. Any thoughts, suggestions etc would be appreciated.

There may be private landowners in that area that have signed up for the WDFW's hunt by permission. Suggest you check out the WDFW Hunting Website or give a call to the local WDFW office .....
