Title: Schafer State park East Satsop for salmon?
Post by: DoubleJ on October 02, 2014, 11:48:40 AM: We'll be in the area on Saturday and I wanted to plunk lines in the water and see if we can hook some silvers. Anyone have any info on the area? How busy is it with fishermen?

Post by: sirmissalot on October 03, 2014, 11:16:24 AM: There's a good hole just below Schafer where Satsop and decker meet. Never fished it for silvers though. A good friend of mine fished the Satsop last weekend in a drift boat and limited in about 45 minutes fishing jigs.

Had a dad on my soccer team in that same hole limit in about an hour on Monday. He said by Wednesday, there were no fish left.
