Title: Need help with what this is and how much it's worth....
Post by: Gringo31 on October 02, 2014, 01:51:38 PM: I have a 77 year old buddy that has this old flintlock pistol. He has asked me to sell it for him as he would rather have the cash. I took some cell phone pics of it and asked around but thought I'd throw it out to the peanut gallery here.

Post by: Heredoggydoggy on October 02, 2014, 09:13:46 PM: Looks French. Colonial American gunsmiths made some ornate guns, but nothing as fancy as that. The French fought on our side during the Revolutionary War. That's probably how it got here.... If only that gun could talk! :dunno:
