This site cracks me up this time of year. :chuckle:
It never fails every year we see the same things.
-New to the site or state
-Been a longtime member but never post
-Have lurked for a longtime but just joined
And these are always followed by:
-Where can I camp
-Where can I hunt
-Bought a tag for an area on the otherside of the state I know nothing about. Can anyone point me
in the right direction.
Just once I would like to see someone be honest and say.....I have been a lazy turd all year and now it's a week before the season and I need someone to leech off of their hard work.
:chuckle:

Hey there turkeyfeather. I fall under the bought a tag not knowing anything about the area realm. I was hoping you were the guy that would point me in the right direction. What goes around, comes around. You never know when you might end up traveling west in search of a great area to hunt or fish. Isn't this site designed to share information or am I asking for too much? I am going to GMU 133, do you have a good spot to camp and fill my doe tag? Just askin' is all. Thank you, your fellow hunter. 8)

Lol. Most of 133 is private.

Wouldn't you think it be wise to secure land to hunt before putting in for a permit in a mostly private land area. I know I would. Just sayin.

I'm not gonna lie. I have definitly made a post like that. I am still reletively new to hunting even though I am 30. The old man and I werent able to get out much due to his work schedule when I was young. In fact I can only recall 4 trips he and I have made together to date. I wasnt able to make time for hunting due to life either...sucks to be me. However, I have finally landed a job that I can take time to hunt...not so much scout but I am still going.
TBH, I was hoping to get more advice than I did from the seasoned hunters but I also came to this site knowing that I wasnt going to get much. Anyway, I have been doing a lot of research over here on the wetside to learn where the productive areas are and a whole lot of mind numbing GE scouting. I am hoping that my research was worthwile and I guess we will find out in about a week. Happy Hunting to all. And to the newbs like me...get out there and start wearing the rubber out. The only way to find a "honeyhole" is to stumble upon it sometimes.
