It's finally here. October 11th. Modern deer opener. Been waiting all year for this. Opening morning for me has been exciting...of sorts...
...with yard chores. Just swept the chimney. Covered the roof with moss killer. Headed to the tire store to get a flat repaired. And then a kid's birthday party tonight. :bash: :bash: :bash:
And I'll be out of pocket tomorrow too, as I've got to help a hunting partner pack for Idaho before we meet with him next week over there. And the Packers are on TV.
Kiss this opening weekend goodbye...

Must be the Packers fan part bringing all the bad luck. :chuckle: :chuckle:

If you're hunting in Idaho next week I wouldn't sweat missing one weekend here. The Idaho hunt should more than make up for whatever you may have missed here.

That's kind of what I was thinking. It still kills me to be missing hunting while lamenting away at a kid's birthday party though.
But today is a day for football and packing for ID.

How did this happen??? ???
Priorities man :chuckle:
