These sheds were picked up by the Globe Hothsots on the Snag Canyon Fire out of Ellensburg this summer. Supposedly this bull was harvested this year too. Does anyone know the story or have pics? The last pic is from this year.

That's not the bull that was harvested . the picture on the bottom is .

The sheds on top are from the bull on bottom.

Did he lose his drop tine? It appears in the trail cam photo its non-existent this year? Or maybe I'm missing something.
I ran into a guy during the archery hunt that told me he saw a bull in the road in his headlights coming in to set up his camp that had 10 points on one side. I called BS, maybe I was wrong....It was right near where these were found. These genetics are definitely up there, we saw an 8x8 last year that was crowned at the top and I filmed a 8x7 during the muzzleloader hunt that had a dropper off of his driver side that was about like this bulls. That rack is unreal. So did the Indians kill him like most the big bulls up there or was a hunter lucky enough to get him??

I passed a 8x9 that had those genetics that had regressed a bunch. I cant confirm those pics but from my knowledge those arnt the same two bulls . believe it or not theres a few known bulls that are similar looking that live many miles apart . you guys can see way a guy with the raffle tag would pass so many bulls when those are out there .

I have a picture of the bull in the trail cam pic dead, buddy of mine sent it to me. Not my picture to post though

Ya it looks like he lost his drop tine. Maybe I'm mistaken and this isn't the same bull, but other than the drop tine they look very similair to me. I know for sure that the sheds came from the snag canyon fire just north of Ellensburg though.

Id love to see the picture of the bull on the ground! That thing is a stud! Anyone know what season it was killed in? Too bad he broke off or didn't grow his dropper this past year, such a cool genetic.
I also heard a rumor that the fire crew that found that set didn't tie the rack off very well on the trailer when they headed home and one side fell off on the freeway and got all busted up. Anyone else hear that?

Yup, pretty tragic. Id probably have those things seat belted up right next to me! whoever was responsible for that should be punched in the face!

Word has it the fire bull is dead, I have his sheds from last year, the story will come out later by the hunter that harvested this great bull
-
Can't wait to hear that story
-
:yeah:
danderson... can we see those sheds you speak of?
-
I am hoping he got some breeding done first.

I was wondering if this was the bull that you had the sheds from Dave. Are you going to show anyone now that he's dead? I know you said you were going to wait until next year...I cant wait to see them when you do. I want to see the pic of this bull on the ground!

One of the great things about shed hunting is the fact that when you find a fresh set knowing that the animal is still out there passing along its genes, lets all hope that some from that bull will be showing up for generations to come, the hunter that harvested the bull can share his hunt and story when hes ready, pictures of his sheds from last year will stay out of circulation for now.
-
I'm gonna say there's some crossed stories going on here ... those who know know.

Every one of us has an evil twin, apparently so do big bulls :chuckle:
-
WOW! That is a impressive rack

I never heard the story though, WHAT A PIG!
