Title: Dad's 2014 Buck
Post by: lonedave on October 13, 2014, 05:30:31 PM
I did dragging duty again for my dad yesterday.  We managed to find a nice little 3 point in the Snake River breaks and one shot later the work began!  Yeah, it's as steep as it looks in the picture, but the drag really wasn't to hard.  We had a good cow trail out to the ridgeline and from there, I just had to keep from being overrun by it through the grass down the ridge.  I'm pretty proud of my dad being able to just climb those hills.  He gives me hope that with luck, I may be able to do the same in another 20 years or so.  Kimber Montana .308 with 1-4 Leupold.

That's very cool, glad to see he is still going for it.

Awesome. Way to lend him a hand. I'm sure he did the same for you a time or two.
