am looking for a light 9 mm for conceiled carry. how about around a pound or less. have an xd compact but it is a beast to pack all day. sorry but I don't like glock. thanks, mike w

If you like your xd then the xds may be a good fit. Not sure on the weight but I like mine for concealment.

Ruger LC9
-
Smith and Wesson shield or sig 938
-
Walther PPS
I picked one up awhile back and I really like it.
-
XDS/LC9S or shield are all great choices.

Just got into the nine world. For the same reason colt commander just to damn heavy. Went with Ruger SR 9c. There's nothing I don't like about it. Except it's to damn much fun to shoot. Which gets expensive :yike: ;)

X2 for the Walther PPS, the Ruger is nice also.

AM LOOKING FOR A 9 THAT IS LESS THAN A POUND AND THE PPS IS 24 OZ. I AM OLD AND NOT A BIG GUY. THANK YOU FOR THE INFO, VERY INTERESTING. MIKE W

That seemed a bit heavier than I thought my PPS was so I weighed my PPS on my little digital scale and the gun w/empty 7rnd mag weighed 21oz. My PPS w/7rnd mag and 8rnds of Win. crital defense 124gr +P, weighed 25oz. I only have a 7 & 8 rnd mag. for mine.
