Title: Anyone on here calling cougars in SW Washington?
Post by: CastleRocker on December 13, 2008, 08:46:31 PM
Been "lurking" for awhile, figured I may be able to learn something if I registered and just asked the question....

Called in three late last season, didn't know they were there until we cut their tracks (one about 30 yards behind us, the other two about 40 yards, in our tracks), on the way out.   Going out in the morning.

PLEASE post what you can!  We can all use every trick for these big kittys!

Thanks!

Went out Sunday, yesterday, and this morning.  There are three more coyote hides on stretchers.  (Should've been 5).  Other than that, the only thing I got was really, really cold!  Had some big cat tracks to call on too...no cats, just dogs.

Somebody must have some calling tips for Cougars!
