I imagine this might be a common theme in a lot of my photos this year. A large percentage of my shots come from areas that burned this year. Looking forward to discovering some new country and some new critters. This might be the year to head into Oregon a bit more. We shall see.

With those mighty lenses you have Bone I be you can shoot deer in Oregon from the right elevation near your house. I suppose the fires allow you to see the deer a little easier but leaves you a lot more in the open as well. Good luck to you over the next several weeks looking forward to the pictures as always. Maybe we will see a few more whiteys this year :dunno:.

I took a couple later days in November off, so I am hoping for some more whitetail action. Generally by the time they are ripe for photos, so is my wife with my time off.
