Just curious and want to see what everyone thinks.

Probably the west, but I hunt the blues and enjoy seeing more color phased bears then black. Our group has got a brown color bear, a jet black bear and I'm holdn out for a blond that iv been seeing

West is one big patch of bear habitat, east is spotty.  The best place is where you have access in those habitats

Never hunted the west, but the northeast corner of the state has ALOT of bears, and a bunch of color phrase bears. Power Lake, Kelly hill, huckleberry all great bear areas.

I see tgomez made a good post about bear areas. I'm a retired Army guy just moved from Alaska to Spokane and will go look for some bears in AO tgomez posted, good info. :tup:

I would bet more bears on the west side, but they are easier to see on the east side. And, more color on the east side in my opinion.
