Boiled skulls always seem really brittle to me. I like letting nature's bugs take care of it. Hope it turns out for you.

I have lots of luck with boiling the skulls then I wrap them in rags soaked in hydrogen peroxide for a few days this seems to work better than bleach as the skulls tend to yellow up after a while using bleach the head is done and turned out great but don't have a picture of it yet it's at my dads house to be mounted on a plaque then I will get it back and hang it on the wall with the others. That will have to be after hunting season we still have elk to kill. I will post up an after pic when I get it back.

Went to my parents for Christmas and brought my head back I would say it turned out great really like the European mounts when I can't afford a shoulder mount. Now just need to figure out how I want to mount it

Sorry not sure why all my photos turn when I post them

Looks good! I'd use the skull hooked system I like the way they look. I skull capped my muzzy bull from this year and just boiled it yesterday. Ran out of propane so had to improvise, yes I asked the wife's permission 1st lol(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Ftapatalk.imageshack.com%2Fv2%2F14%2F12%2F28%2F8ef5566d8be5ce48c7f737c6322e709a.jpg&hash=5cd05b2f661c9f7fb088469c8cc04ed221cfe4cc)(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Ftapatalk.imageshack.com%2Fv2%2F14%2F12%2F28%2Fac762156aab471191bce7b34f84ecf1a.jpg&hash=f65aa8539501f4daa91fdc6ddc850a01ada6d406)
