undercooked bear meat.  blatantly undercooked.

Six of them contracted trichinosis and didn't know it until a month later.

90% of trig comes from bear meat...WOW, not many people eating bear meat, that's A LOT...I haven't had the pleasure of eating bear yet, but you can bet I'm going to cook the heck out of it when I do

It's nice because even though you do need to cook it very thoroughly, it doesn't dry the day deer and elk would.

We cook ours appropriately....but also have eaten the liver which some recommend staying away from...

Also don't forget, during the zombie apocalypse, don't eat Steve Rinella (or cook him to 160 degrees).  :chuckle:
