Anybody tried this system yet? I am trying to get back into my old hunting areas that are now permit only accessible. They don't allow camping on the St Helens area so will be looking for campgrounds or available DNR sports for our self contained trailer. Couple 'older hunters' trying to get out there again.
passes are no longer available for this season.

I bought an access pass this year. There are a couple spots in my area that is free to access but that is up kalama river. If the pass is required you're not allowed to walk in as you are required to carry your permit and info with you( we've already been stopped by woods security). It's not so bad. Just a little different opening and closing gates. I like the pic! I know right where that is!

Thanks Slim, hard to miss that blown out mountain view.
I flew logs just SW of St Helens back in the 80s when it was venting steam. Kept a close eye on it.
It's been a long time since I've been up the Kalama river road but remember dodging a deer and ending up in a ditch.
May have to dust off the maps but hate to start from zero. What areas are camping allowed?
