Title: Fall bear scat

Has anyone noticed that bear scat gets smaller as the winter gets closer? I may be just looking at smaller bear sign, but all year I had been seeing huge piles and now all that I see are smaller piles around. Less food around maybe?

Still finding large piles, even from average bears.
