Title: Last minute trip to Idaho
Post by: Rrich2278 on November 04, 2014, 07:16:39 PM
So I decided that I'd take advantage of my upcoming long weekend and head over the Idaho for some Whitetail hunting. Was able to make a trip last year and hunted down around St. Maries, then up above Sandpoint. Thought about sticking to the WMA again, but had a question about forestland access.

Can you by permits to Access the Caribou Drainage area north of Sandpoint? If anyone has any information on that area that they are willing to share, I'd appreciate it.

Have you gone already or are you heading over thanksgiving weekend?

Most of the timber is National Forest isn't it?  Snow could be an issue though.   Lots of National Forest area north and east of Bonners Ferry.
