My brother's business partner shot this amazing Idaho bull using a muzzle loader. Green scored 414. Current record is 412. Probably second largest ever with a muzzle loader in the world, I'm told. Shelly is an avid hunter and a good woman. I have only small parts of the story and those details may be private, so I'm not posting them. Enjoy the photos.

:yike: Good gosh. Amazing bull. Congrats to the hunter.
-
So big it looks fake, unreal!! Good God man, amazing!
-
Wow!! :yike:
-
Outstanding bull, congrats to her. Not to take anything away but i see more than 2" of deductions - don't think it'll hold as the new ID record :dunno: Doesn't matter a bit, dream bull for sure.
-
That one has just about everything!! Congrats to her!!!
-
Woh Nelly!! That is a bull of a lifetime. Congrats to the huntress!
-

(Coach would of passed :chuckle:)

It may if the 414" measurement was the net score, which would be after deductions. It's not the deductions you need to worry about at that point, it's the amount it shrinks as it dries.
Amazing bull. I guess I would've assumed that there had been some bigger muzzleloader bulls killed in the world from a guessing standpoint. Pretty cool stat for sure.

Bumble bee tuna :dunno:
-
Good Golly, Miss Molly :yike:
-
Man that is a PIG! I think this would be the new record! GT Nunn's Arizona muzzy bull last year was the new record at 412 I think. Congrats to the hunter and thanks for sharing.
-
Nice! That is a stud bull.
-
Beautiful congrats to all
-
Private ranch by riggins???
-
Dandy bull for sure.
-
OMG
-
Private ranch by riggins???
No. Public land. I don't know that I have permission to share the location. She says she doesn't have a media deal lined up. Too bad. We'd all enjoy the full story.
Shelley passed up several bulls in the 350-380 range to tag that bull. I doubt I could have that kind of discipline.
-
Wow. He's a great looking animal. Well done.
-
NIce rack she has now. The body on that thing is silly stupid huge, wonder what it hung at for weight? :kneel:
-
Stunning bull. passing a 380" bull in hopes of a 400+, that's some serious will power
-
WOW! what a stud trophy
-
That thing is freakin sick. Unbelievable, congrats to the huntress for sure.
-
Wow, great bull must be a unit that borders nevada. Idaho doesnt have many units that u can pass up 350 and 380 bulls to shoot a 400.
-
If it shrinks after the drying period, it' s still going to be the biggest bull taken by a lady hunter. :)
-
Looks exceptionally wide also... Any straight-on pictures?
-
Well that's the end of elk in Idaho. That was the last one the WOOFs were chasing to kill. Glad she got it and not the WOOFS.... Great bull elk !!!!!?

Official results are net score of 405 1/8 after drying and deductions. Not going to be the new record, but still a great bull.
-
Still a great bull all year long.
where did it land in the standings at 405 1/8?
