Title: My son got his first bull
Post by: cryfowl on November 05, 2014, 05:33:03 PM: Picked him up,after school and ran him over to the family farm as a herd showed up this morning. One shot and done. 4x4. There was a bigger bull in the herd but this was the safest shot for him. Pretty proud.

I have had a lot of hard Elk hunts in my life with the average pack out being about 3 miles and the worst being two days. So to be able to drive out to Grandpas farm after school and shoot a Bull was a very nice change of pace.
