Title: Catherine Creek Bull Elk
Post by: Myrtle Creek Inc. on November 06, 2014, 05:02:10 PM: Here's some pictures of a nice bull that was shot outside of La Grande in the Catherine Creek Unit. Unfortunately, the meat was ruined because of an wound from what we guess was a bad arrow shot during archery. This was her first ever bull, so she started out with a great bull!

How could a bad arrow wound from a couple months ago ruin all the meat? I've never heard of such a thing. Would really like details on what you think caused that if you are comfortable posting those.
